11. Agneta and her magic paper cutting

Tomorrow is the summer solstice at last.

Geraniums are called flowers of the summer solstice. Rosa caninas can be seen in the mountains and fields all around in Sweden. They bloom at once all together. Preparing for the summer solstice fest, many families go to the fields and pick the wild flowers up, such as bell flowers, white daisies and buttercups. Agneta’s daughter enjoys making small bouquets of wild flowers which are going to consist of the great Maypole.

The Maypole is 10 meters high. A divine tree, a white birch tree is decorated with wild flowers. The villagers are dancing and singing around the Maypole.

Agneta’s family celebrates the day of the summer solstice. They are setting the table, with a big white table cloth and silverware and so on and Agneta’s paper ornament at the end.
 

A salad;" An eye of the sun". She scatters around the eye- yellow with hacked anchoby, hacked chibes and onions.
 

They celebrate the summer solstice day, chatting and singing until late at night under the midnight sun.
